Robbins’ morning routine is based on a method known as priming, which refocuses thoughts and emotions on positivity and productivity through specific actions and exercises. For example, meditative breathing first thing in the morning helps relax the body and focus the mind.

Other priming actions include practicing gratitude, eating a nutritious breakfast, and engaging in heart rate-elevating exercises. An entire morning routine may be completed in a few minutes but will have an energizing effect that lasts all day.
